Doubled sales with the same budget
The partnership with SWISSpur and R17 Ventures started with R17 providing performance marketing for SWISSpur's e-ecommerce business only, but in late 2021, grew into a full e-commerce partnership where R17 migrated SWISSpur succssfuly to Shopify and was, in addition to running performance marketing for the online store, running paid media for the physical stores too.
After the start of SWISSpur's performance marketing partnership with R17 Ventures, it was clear that the big leverage for growth was in paid social, particularly Meta. This saw R17 ramping up Facebook Ads, which not only presented new customers, but also offered an additional avenue for retargeting traffic from Google Ads and Taboola. We built out acquisition strategies for the two core collections mattresses and luxury beds. Eventually, we could double the revenue on a year-to-year basis. After the first year we expanded our partnership and built a new e-commerce platform on Shopify, which included a highlight feature that allows consumers to individually customise their own luxury beds.
